One of the newer trends in web design is the so-called endless or infinite scroll. It's great for reducing initial load time by loading content on a "just in time" basis. But please, please don't include a footer, unless you compensate in one of two ways.
My vision for this website started when I began re-designing my resume using Adobe InDesign, an application used primarily for print design. I wanted to create a uniform set of style rules that would apply to both my resume and my website (and potentially a future business card).
This is the first post of my new blog, so this post is primarily meant to serve as an introduction to the new comment system I'm using. For my previous blog, I relied on Wordpress. It works great as a blog post editor, but I ran into problems with formatting and, especially, with spammy comments (even with anti-spam measures). To combat spam comments, I'm trying a new comment system that relies on Google+.
